Jumping to conclusions gets me in hot water ALL the time. I wish I were more intuitive, because I ALWAYS assume the worst. Thanks for this lesson in positive thinking.

T - go ahead and yell anytime. :) I love what you have to say. Yes I did read the 4 agreements - I need to read them again, in fact. The only one I am remembering atm is "Be Impeccable with your Word"

Karen and Krista - Glad to hear there are kindred spirits in roof storage!!

Krista - another thing that works well for us is waving a shirt and or pants in front of my face and making them sing in a silly falsetto voice. They implore Sami to put them on and he generally obliges.

I have driven with stuff on the roof of my car too. Sheesh. Haha. I love that your mornings are getting more manageable and I think I'll try the dancing pants gig. I go through the same power struggle over getting George dressed in the morning as well.

Done the same more times than I can say. One time with a pair of shoes on the roof! A sure sign that I was suffering from upside down thinking.

Yay!! I love this post!!!

This is also good to remember when someone reacts to US with anger and irritation. We have NO IDEA what their perception of the situation is. We all see things differently. So we'll all act/react in our own way based on our past filters and mixed up perceptions. This is why we should NEVER TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY. And NEVER MAKE ASSUMPTIONS....

(hee hee... sorry to yell!)

Have you read The Four Agreements by Don Miguel-Ruiz?

What a wonderful lesson. I love this. Yes. Yes! Exactly!

Hooray for dharma nuggets and cornbread!
